Darn dog!

good thing he's so cute!
OH MY WORD! GORGEOUS dog! Best of luck....where you headed, MSU? Hope it's not his cruciate ligament!

Thank you all for the kind words regarding my doeling. I just miss her so darn much. I want to believe this is all some horrible dream (I've had awful dreams like this) and that I'll wake up and she'll be outside all excited to see me. But no, she's gone. No more snuggles from Dulce.

And the other girls are still wondering where she is, pacing the fencing and MAAAing for their friend. Before Dulce was buried, I let them see her, sniff her. But they don't understand death. The only time they calm down is when I am with them, and I've made an effort to spend even more time with them, just sitting and talking with them.

SillyChicken, I really hope your big laddie can be fixed up without too huge a dent in your wallet. He is such a handsome boy!

On a more positive note, did anyone catch the auroras last night? A coronal mass ejection recently led to a very pretty sky last night. I stayed up quite late last night to watch the shifting curtain of green. I also saw some early Draconid meteors.

Oh, I do think they understand... They mourn just like us, and they are comforted when you are with them...

I had the strangest dream while I was napping today. Yes... I had a nap. Seems to be needed after a no sleep Sunday. Anyway, I dreamt that Vanna was sitting on top of my jeep. Roger flew up there to sit next to her, and Mr. Fluffers was standing on the hood. So weird since all three of them are gone. I wonder what it means. Maybe they are telling me I need a new car... The hinge weld broke again. After two weeks. LOL. Love them MI rust buckets.

Staci, I saw the northern lights last night too - faint here, I think it was a little cloudy, but you could see the faint green streaks.

One big bunch of cranes got a little disorganized and started calling and circling in 3 groups at different altitudes - they crossed over several times as they circled, then finally got themselves straightened out and headed south. Fascinating to watch.

I am sure all the hawks we are seeing are headed your way downstaters - might want to keep the chickies in for a little while.

OPA, or anyone else who may know... When I was in JR High, we had to read this book called April Morning. It was about the War of Indepenance. I typed it into the search, maybe I have a sucky search, but I kept getting movies and articles, but I want the author. Do you know who it is? I know Howard... Thats what I remember of his name, and its been 24 years since I read it...

Thanks, he's the sweetest boy..
yes it is his cruciate........not going to be fun with him being such an active boy.
We're going to a local vet, there's no way I could afford msu.

I'll find out what the damage is tomorrow.
