yepper its freezing here....so cold the well pit froze so im trying to get water back to the house...glad thing for water reserves...got a 2500 watt heater in there now heating it up....grrr

This makes me glad to have city water, except when I pay the bill.

Hi Pipe dreamer, welcome to Mi. BYC make sure you have plenty of ventilation in your coop, moisture is the main cause of frostbite in chickens.......and yes the ointment may help.
only a small amount of snow here but sure is COLD

Once we are certain that we have the pavilion reserved on the 3rd Saturday of June, I'll start my Chicken Stock threads.

Well, start them up, RaZ! Went all the way to Lansing only to discover I forgot my purse at home. Luckily, my daughter saved the day and paid for the pavillion. Yes, it's June 20. Delta Mills Park. 10am-3pm.
