More cute baby goats!!
My son keeps hatching chicks. If anyone needs Bielefelders, Jubilee Orpingtons, Tolbunt Polish or Swedish Flower Hens let me know!! The boy has an obsession!!

I was wondering where you are located? I love the jubilee orpingtons but I'm guessing we are pretty far away from each other. I have some eggs hatching this weekend. I can just tell hubby we ended up with a few extra. He'll never notice right?

I'm so happy one of my 7 month old chicken laid an egg.

Congratulations!
Alright here we have the RIRs. I'm hoping for only one rooster, but I'm starting to wonder.

The first is the one I've been calling Rudy, because I'm pretty sure he's a rooster...

I have a video processing that shows all of them going about their business, including Chicken B's amazing cantaloupe balancing act. I'll post that later on. It's about 7 minutes long and shows them even better than the pictures. Also, Chicken B shows off it's amazing singing voice, AKA screeching at the camera :p.
The Cantalope Balancing Act makes me giggle. Cute mystery chickens.

Finally Poor Myrtle gave birth to twins today! The black one is a girl! Def a keeper!!! The white and brown is a boy! My lovely wife named the girl, Pepper, a perfect name!

Nice warmer weather today, but snow in the morning. Mother Nature needs to get a hormone patch, so her temp stabilizes.
"Jubilee Orpington..." I hadn't seen one, so I did a quick search and they are beautiful! I'm just starting with my six and not yet ready for more, but that is a beautiful chicken!

question, son-in-law just called, wants to know what the best brown egg layer is?  not looking for
dark just good sized med. sized brown eggs,     His cust. think the white eggs came from the store and the blue and green are sick

Both my isa browns and Amber links lay brown eggs very well or the sex links

I was so shocked when I woke up this morning!! It's warming up, so the snow is slowly melting. Hopefully it will all be gone in a few hours.

Have a good day everyone!

Someone asked what would be the best chicken breed to get for egg production and size. If had just about every conceivable breed available and have found ISA browns to be the best bird readily available. Eggs usually extra large to jumbo and over 300 per year. The only breed that might be a better choice would be the Bragg Mountain Buff from an Oklahoma hatchery.

One of this days I going to figure out how to post videos directly from youtube but in the mean time hear is a link to an ad I thought not only funny but possible.
