Quote: Oh, well, that was the question earlier....egg color out of Welsummers from Townline.
Wow, you added another kid! Congrats! Yes, I'm still in Davison, but planning on moving back to the Lansing area by next summer, I hope. Kids and grandkids are all there and will make the babysitting much easier. I have 9 grandkids now, eight of them GIRLS! LOL Hoping to find somewhere that is chicken friendly.
We're having our annual picnic June 20th in Lansing. Look in RaZ's signiture to find all the details.
valbazan is the best wormer and most effective for your dollar.....compared to really anything...just my thoughts tho...it would take 60 dollars of safegaurd to do what like 10 dollars with valbazan would doSnowflake, what is the active ingredient in those dewormers?
at a hundred bucks a bird....yes they are expensive...but cant wait for the 200 dollar a day old chick....ayam cemani...gff said they should be sending them this coming week...if not then the next...as for people in michigan i only know of one other person that has them....and as for color...they are very dark...everything on the bird is blackish/dary grey...very happy with the birds...i have been researching and waiting for about a year now...and finally got them....i will have unrelated stock to breed with sometime soon...and that im very confident that i am the only person in mi that has that....not very many people will put down that kind of cheddar for some birds...and both lines came directly from the importer....so there is no chance that i would get some fake stuff that you see all over ebay....and not knowing the lineage of the birds as well makes things even scarier buying them at 30-50 bucks an egg...people are trying to cash in with these birds...i will not be...IF you get them for me...which is not really possible unless you are family or very close to me...it will be more as a gift to keep the birds at several locations...most will be used for traditional shaman ceremonies in the asian culture...adult svart honas go for a pair....at 1000-1500 bucks...crazy.Oh man im jealous!

My Welsummer from Townline lays medium to darker eggs with really dark speckles. MUCH darker than my Buff's or what I'd say is "store brown" eggs.Hi all! Been away for a few months, but I have a quick question..... For anyone that got the welsummers from townline/tractor supply last year....how is the egg color?
Talk me out of this, please....i know that a motorcycle would scare my chickens...but IT'S SO PRETTY.
