I just saw a duck standing on a branch on my front yard tree! It wasn't small either. Pretty high up, probably 50 feet? Was that a Wood Duck? I thought they were small? This one appeared to be the size of a mallard. Oh no, I don't want to see baby ducks falling out

I saw some in a tree when walking my dogs this AM, wondered the same thing?

daffodils in the snow, so pretty, I have some too, Daf's are pretty, would like the snow to leave now, and not come back.

Just watched the making of ice cider on the tub. looks yummy, will have to look for it in the store.

I keep hoping for some nice days to let's my chicks have some outdoor time while I clean up the brooder. This snow is not helping!!

Such crazy weather. The front grass needs cutting but I don't have snow tires on the mower.

The little rescue hen I got a few weeks ago has become much more tame. When I call her name she squats and drums her feet. She's not fully accepted by the flock but she isn't being picked on either. Flock dynamics are fascinating to watch.

I'm out of dog food and I need egg cartons. Do I dare risk a trip to TSC?
