Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Moved my ~week olds out to the coop a few days ago with a heating pad for warmth.

Kinda of miss seeing them but then sure don't miss cleanings brooder, the dust and the stink.

My chicks arrived at 7 am this morning! Ordered 40, and got 47, to be shared with a friend. I've got bantam EE's, Belgian d'Uccle millies, standard sized white Chanties, three black Jersey Giants, and wheaton Marans.

All doing well so far, and who knows what the extras are. Mary

Hate those 4 am calls - Nothing wakes you up faster.
It wasn't 4 am, but it was about 90 minutes earlier than I had thought about getting up. Oh well, got the girls out and about early. Don't think that's going to happen tomorrow.

I submit that the worst -- fastest wake up call is a cat going "yak-yak-yak" on the pillow next to your head.
Yeah, that or a dog doing that.

Grrrrrr.... started snowing like crazy coming home tonight here, big fluffy and sticky stuff. sticking to about everything.out there. had to take my pen fence down because the snow was making it sag and it would rip up the vinyl up.
