Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Are we going to have a big turnout at CS? I've been talking to a few non-poster's, lurker's, and just good friend's of mine that still don't know:(

Does anyone have a Flemish Giant Doe, 6 months to a year old they want to trade for a 6 month old FG buck albino? Has to be pure FG. Or, does anyone know someone that is into FG's they could present that question to? He's a friendly, very clean, boy that needs a new home ASAP!

I don't know how big the turn out will be but can say for sure that I will be there.

I can say that confidently because I passed my heart catheterization yesterday so the big surgery is on schedule.

I hope people will come to the picnic. It's so much fun to meet your fellow chicken enablers. Food is great and we always have a good time. Love at the end of it all, we sit and just talk. It's just nice day all around.

I have orioles! I have oranges out and put out grape jelly. So love watching all these birds that are in my yard. Lots that I haven't seen but in pictures.

RaZ. I'm glad your surgery is finally going to happen! Hope that you recover quickly and feel so much better. Hope you find someone to take care of your critters.

So far we have 27 on the RSVP list. I also put a notice in the local Community Event pages online

So a guinea just showed up in my totally fenced in yard between the hours of 12 and 1. Anyone lose a guinea? Just to put this in perspective, I'm three miles from the Detroit border in a suburban/industrial area on an acre lot. I've got this sinking feeling someone dumped him here thinking I wouldn't notice him. Right. Loud. Clicking. Missile noise making. Guinea.

There is a flock in my Macomb County neighborhood as well. No one really cared when they were introduced and naturalized 20 years ago. They've been picked off one at a time in the last few years as the area developed.

I really like what those birds do. If someone was able to breed a silent strain I'd get some.

And Garden City ignorance is once again in the limelight. Maybe they should check the lead levels here...seems to be a majority of brain damaged neighbors.

And guess who received another court summons for multiple charges. I'm beginning to think that someone doesn't like me.

or did you PUT them there,?? people today do not want anyone to makes waves in their perfect life, they haven't matured enough to know that there is NO perfect, anything, and other people have the same rights and some times those rights may not make you happy, so grow up , we used to say, live and let live, now it is live my way or get off the planet.
sorry, hope things improve real soon, and you can move out!!

just got my first humming bird on the feeder this year. saw an oriole yesterday but haven't seen one on my feeder yet
