Hi once again Michiganders, hope you are all well

I haven't been ignoring you all - but had some surgery on my shoulder and what with that and the meds, couldn't be bothered to get to the computer. On the mend now though, just in time for the holidays!

So voting, and getting rid of those pesky phone calls. I had one last week; a pure idiot. I told him I was not a citizen (couldn't he tell by my STRONG British accent?) and wasn't a registered voter. Pause . . . then he asks "Does that mean you aren't going to vote then?"

I felt like telling him that if he was representative of his party, I certainly would be voting for the the other side - "IF" I VOTED"!

Anyone going to TSC should pick up a copy of Hobby Farms magazine. Inside are coupons for Blue Seal and Purina feeds. Each are $10 off when purchasing 2 bags of feed.

Wish I had caught up this AM. just bought 2 bags. will pick up a magazine though. Never have enough feed, some thing keeps eating it...

For those of you like me who don't know what a Livornese is, Here in America we call them
a Leghorn.

Mine already roam free although no goat milk. Maybe I just need to call them by the French name and then I can sell eggs for $2 an egg.

Must be the goats milk ? never got that flavor from my free range hens....... Like the Italian name though... Might bring a better price

Put two batches of butternut squash in the oven to bake. Placed them whole on large trays and baked them until they were soft. To keep them from exploding I punctured the tops with several small holes. When looking at the pan after removing them it was amazing how much sugar had formed.

After cooling them I cut them in half, removed the seeds, then scrapped out the pulp. End result was 18lbs. Put it into 9 quart freezer bags.

Heard a great quote today folks should think about when voting. "No American has ever died for his country while defending socialism."

As for the phone calls. NON STOP! They've quit for the last hour now though. BUT, it seemed to be one an hour since we got up this morning. Only 2 calls were not from polls, political parties, or what ever... I told my mom not to answer, and she says, well It might be important. I told her to look at the caller ID first, but NOPE, she just answers, gets pithed and hangs up. LOL

The end of tomorrow can't come fast enough.

No landline, no phone calls. Woot! Political flyers and handouts, though.....really, I do not need 4 of the same thing every day.

Yes, with my Nigerian buck when she is old enough, if I can't find an Angora buck for stud service. The resulting mix is called a "Nigora".

Pygmy crossed with Angoras is actually a pretty popular cross. They're called Pygoras, hah. Small and fluffy!
