...and it's a balmy 22F with no wind!

It could snow here all day and people would cheer. Easy to say though when you have a tractor with a 6" snowblower, but there is plenty of shoveling on top of that. I'd love to see a day above 20 degrees, though. 7 here right now.

Sorry Rose. Our dumping was less than an inch.

Rachel, get your hand checked. I had carpal tunnel release of both hands in the 90's. Currently have my right hand and arm in a cast. Radial row carpectomy. Cast comes off next week for post-inspection. I hope it stays off. It has been difficult to do chores.

It's 23 here, Mutts. Expecting high winds later. Living so close to the lake gets some howling winds. Before shipping season shut down there were 7 freighters taking shelter in the bay. Pretty awesome sight. Not quite a hurricane, aart, but close enough.

Rather have snow than a hurricane. Suppose to get 1 in of snow today and 1-3 tomorrow. Trudged through knee deep snow to the neighbors hill. Struggled up the hill in all that snow and got on the sled. Very slowly went down. Half way down I stopped dead. Guess too much snow. Got to those kids out to pack down the snow for me. So disappointing. All that work and no thrill at the end.
Have to go and buy eggs today. WoW! Shame on those lazy hens. Got to get some young ones. Even the two SLR that I got from Wynette stopped laying.
RaZ, we're planning on camping in Caseville this summer. Will be there for the Cheeseburger Fest. Think it's their 20th anniversary this year, so it should be even more fun.

Where do you plan to camp? I'm just past Sleeper State Park. Cheeseburger is crazy-busy. That's when I bought this place. Had to find the back way in so I could move stuff.

I have a couple of hens laying under the front porch. I really need to build a proper coop so I don't have an egg hunt several times a day. One hen lays in the middle of the floor, another on a tool box in the shed, and only a few use the designated nest box. Guess I better suit up and go under the porch.
