Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

We'll have kids with us. Don't know how many as of yet. Wouldn't want to be running in your house for the bathroom. Don't let the kids use camper bathroom much. Have a tendency to plug it up. :sick :rant You can join us for a meal or two. S'mores. campfire
More snow to shovel. When will this end? Well, it's a good workout.

Kids will be kids. Can't expect to be grown up. But they need rules and boundaries. Camping is a whole different situation. lol They off doing whatever. Swimming in the pond with their clothes on, disappearing for long periods of time, etc.
We never know how many kids will join us. With blended families, never know who's week end is who's. Gymnastics practice, cheer practice. list goes on and on.
We ended up with no kids on the last halloween weekend. Boy, did we have fun without them. We got to see the kids in their costumes, instead of dragging the littles to camp site to camp site. Love the grand kids. But also have fun without them. We have a few adult only weekends, too.

I had someone on another chat thread get all booger-lipped because I facetiously mentioned murdering her misbehaving grandkid  .
hahaha.

Had one little snot here at the apartment today while I was shoveling out the pathway once again. Kinda glad I had let it go last night as we got a little freezing rain here and it's just so much easier to get rid of that when its on snow than when its on the ground or a sidewalk. The other kids in the apartment had tunneled out out a snow pile that I had built up here over the weekend and had a nice little snow fort going. Brat decides to wreak it and they get all upset with him about it. they exchange some snowballs while I'm just working along along the path. Brat decides to throw a snowball at me. I get a big scoop of snow in my shovel and chase him down, had the snow right over him as he was turtling by the dumpster. toss the snow way and told him that he's lucky that I'm a nice guy. walked him back to where I was shoveling and he then threw another snowball at me. should have planted him in a pile. If I had known his parents.

Got over to the girls today and shoveled them out the girls. They were happy to get outside today. Then went and got to me the dogs of the house that we're going to be housesitting at the end of the month. A Hungarian pointer and a St. Bernard. Big puppy. I'm just wondering if Amy can resist cleaning enough to not try to vacuum the whole house there.

Found something worse than kids.
Old, widowed ladies.
She called 4 times to say that she didn't need to be plowed out. She wasn't going anywhere today.
Then 5 more calls to ask why I haven't plowed. She wants to go to bingo.
Bingo was cancelled due to the snow.
2 more calls, when are you plowing?
And the latest 5 minutes ago..."was that you on the snowmobile?". I don't have a snow-mobile, I say. "Well it looked like you".
:he
