The shoes I'm wearing now are not slip ons. So tying and untying them every 10- 15 minutes is not practical. Besides the dogs track in almost as much as i do.

Also consider that in 6-8 weeks I'll be barefoot. Can't leave those barefoot shoes at the door. :lau

Guess you're stuck with frequent mopping/vacuuming. :D
 
So Hobbes, the barn cat, has adopted my Golden Retriever.
I'm not sure that the cat will be going outside anytime soon. He seems to like it here in the house.

Why oh why do my chickens eat snow when I bring them fresh filtered water at least twice day!
Mine love to eat snow too...even with fresh warm water in the coop.
Kinda of funny unless it's really cold and/or windy...then frostbit wattles.
