Lamb sitting is going well....the chickens were NOT happy, after 3 days they are getting used to him but he leaves tomorrow. He sleeps in a crate in the coop shed but spends most his day in the mini 'pasture' I set up.

Today we're going to separate the chicks, some to go home with the friend who split this order. I'm sure we'll make some mistakes, but at least I won't have so many here. Lots of babies that don't look that different, so who knows?

I've been tracking in so much mud lately. Can't keep up with sweeping and mopping.
I think I'll just let it build up and plant grass seed.
Then I can just mow the kitchen and living room.

ETA: I live alone, no spouse to please(or clean up after me).
My 'barn shoes' are slip-on, as are my house shoes,
so easy to swap out just inside the door.

I hate to clean... But I love a clean house. So I am constantly conflicted, as anytime by BF walks in the door it looks like a bomb went off.
