Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Today I went to FF&H in Mason, and they did have a lot of chicks! I'm not happy with their management; chicks can be handled by anyone, and I felt that some were mixed into the wrong brooders too.
Also, the Flock Raiser was dated in March, so older than I want to buy.
Glad I went, but bought nothing.
Chicks are really cute...

Love the leaves, Aart, do you still do any for sales or is it pretty much just for fun now?
I still have some to sell/barter/donate, but am not making them any more...whacked out my knee big time hauling them to shows, then my son died which whacked me out, spent a year on the couch, then chickens got me off the couch and so no more concrete. Not sure I'll ever mix up any concrete again, still have all the gear but<shrugs>chickens are now my obsession errrr passion.

So sorry about your son.
Thanks, it's been 7 years this June. May(his birthday) and June just stink, but am really trying to rally this year to make them better. Borrowing then buying a new string trimmer has been a good prompt in taking back the neglected yards and gardens, now if only my leg and back hold up to the activity.
