On a side note, I've developed trigger finger in 2 fingers of my right hand. Quite painful, especially when they lock

Very painful! Had one thumb surgically fixed, that sucker was locked up tight, easy outpatient surgery they just snip that tendon sheath.
Have a few others that resolved with nsaids and splinting.

I've had 9 trigger finger surgeries!

Oh Rose, things ARE going my way! That light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train...it's been one train wreck after another.

I had trigger finger after the surgery to remove bones in my hand. They fixed it then with a simple injection of something. I hope it will be an easy fix this time.

If I had known that I would live this long, I would have taken better care of my self.

Well, they say...if the 'geographical cure' doesn't work, look at what you brought to the new location
Hang in there, you'll figure it out.


This is the first fall I've been 'totally' without eggs, hatched replacement layers out later than usual. 1 out of 12 hens still laying, the broody who molted after she hatched in May, and the 2 pullets are not laying yet.
Had one egg the other day, mixed it with milk and then added the pantry moth infested cornbread mix in SMH. Shoulda looked before I poured!!
Got another egg this morning and am rather excited about an egg sammich later.
