GORgeous day!
Got some lopping done, trying to forgive my inability to do as much as should be done.
Grass is really long in few places, guess I'll have to wrassle the tractor from throw to mow soon.
Had to do something outside today, because.....

It was a great day/ weekend to be outside for sure. We put in new pavers (70) around the flowers beds by the house, took the old pavers and made a new fire pit and I made a 2’ x 8’ planter box for my wife to put on the edge of the deck. Hoping to sleep good tonight.

Sat up the play pen up in the little coop to give my little ones some time out on grass today. was windy but pretty snug in there for them. Kinda thinking that in another week or two they're going to be living full time out in the little coop. Especially if the weather holds.

We are taking the vinyl sheeting off the south side of the run today, and leaving it up on the east side and the windows. It's spring!

So, folks. It was mentioned that Chickenstock should be cancelled this year. You all agree? Staying away from big crowds is the smart thing to do. Give me your voice.

RaZ, I've got netting. Just can't get it to you. We cancelled our Caseville camping trip. I do have a friend that has a house there. Not sure when and if she's going. I can check with them.

A beautiful day it's going to be!! Enjoy, cuz the rain is suppose to move in for the next 3 days.

I think that cancelling is the safest thing to do this year.
I will have chicks available though, and meetings can be arranged for those of us who have things to share. Have a picnic in the yard that day, at home, and think about meetings in the future!

I would like to try to push it back to say September. Maybe a sunday? Hopefully things are back to normal by September. Bosses have been running the numbers and they are not quite sure about how they're going to be able to keep the studio if this drags on through summer. Not that I couldn't do alright elsewhere, but I just feel like they set me up so well at Balance.

I'd love to think that we could get together in September, but it's too soon to plan. This situation isn't going to 'magically disappear' any time soon.
