Ha! I told you, you have to ask DH! I have no say........ but he does like to share sometimes, so you have a shot............ Also, since the first already got made hamburg the one will be for steaks and fancy stuff............ DH does the cooking of venison here, i've never had better! Melt in your mouth

Just caught up finally on the last 100+ posts. Sounds like everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. Us too. Woke up this morning and was shocked when I looked outside...instant potatoes (I liked that post!) Everywhere. Chickens weren't happy about this new stuff they'd never seen before. They wouldn't go outside until I tossed a few wheelbarrows full of pine needles into their run. Then they ran out just as happy as could be. The only one that actually seemed to like the **ow was my ee cockerel and he LOVES it. Running around all wild-eyed and wings up. Somethings not right with him.

Yesterday...
1-  All I wanted to do on my first day off in too many days was rest and get projects done at home.  DH just had to get off the couch though, so into town to get new phones.  Then one of the sales ladies come up to us... "Brethren 49619?
"Yes" I replied, thinking yeah, that's our zip code as we are talking about phone service coverage.
"Wrightsx4"

2-  Three eggs from the Araucana hens from Stacykins.  Stella and CiCi are now joined withe Kelly laying as well.

I am glad it seems like most everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Opa, sorry that you had to get a new stove but glad that things turned out fine.
DH and I will be celebrating our 25th anniversary tomorrow

We got married on Thanksgiving day and I have had many things to be thankful for since.

I have his books, she will be lying down next to me then out of the blue attacks Dave for no reason at all. It's strange that's for sure. Thanks everyone for the advice though. I still have her she's my baby girl.

It was funny this morning when my chickens wouldn't walk on the snow. I have one run that is uncovered so they have to put up with the snow, I finally had to put a hen out in it then my roo Mr. Blue wanted to see what I was doing to his lady. I almost left my little crippled hen out in the snow all night. She was under the coop and she got shut out until I went to check on things for the night and there she was all the way to the end where I can't reach her

so I had to go around to the back and make her think I was going to eat her so she hopped back towards the run thank goodness or I would have had to crawl under the coop and get her. I love that little girl, I should have culled her but I just couldn't do it.
Made some cookie tin water warmers hopefully they work.
