Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

So true! The only breed that comes to mind that's always been sweet in my experience have been Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Delightful, every one, so far.
And some breeders totally ignore/ make excuses for so many issues!!!
I remember when St. Bernards were popular, and there's nothing like a killer 200 lb. dog! Fortunately they died young, and lost popularity, and those 'breeders' faded away.

Making blanket generalizations often fails, sorry. Two of the nastiest dogs I've ever met were Golden Retrievers. Just sayin'.

I had a neighbor with one who turned mean and aggressive in a short time span. They had him put down and had a necropsy. The dog has some kind of growth on his brain.
Any dog can turn out to be mean. Just like roosters. There are good ones and bad ones.

Going to run some errands and pick up the paperwork from work for my medical leave. Going to stop at urgent care too. I woke up with ankle/foot pain that is through the roof. It's the foot that I broke back in March. Not going to use the narcotic pain reliever unless absolutely necessary.

So I'm guessing that I won't be doing any chores today. 😁

True that blanket statements don't tend to work.
Better version: all of the goldens I have known have been awesome doggos! Besides ours and my brothers, I have a few friends who have had them, including one service dog. But, a lot depends on breeding and training!
