Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Wow! What a gorgeous day here. It started cloudy but the sun is out now in a cloudless blue sky. Such a brilliant, uplifting day of sunshine. It is a perfect day to be outside enjoying the crisp air while feeling the warmth of the sun on your face.
Air temp has risen to mid-30s. But the cold temps still hurt my cold sensitivity. I have to come in to defrost my fingers and toes. Once feeling returns I'll go back out and gather more firewood to bring in.

Tapped into my inner 10year old and decided to have some fun today....and built a snowman. A welcome addition to below freezing temps!

Looked like about 4" out there but more like 6" where it blew into the coop path, but not too heavy.
Tendinitis in my shoulder for the last 4 weeks is getting better and didn't feel *too* bad while 'carefully' shoveling. Hope it doesn't blow up later.
Got driveway cleared too....and 2 eggs today.
Maybe some sun tomorrow.

No sun here. Gloomy. Snow on and off. Didn't matter. Sat in the car for two hours while my dog was at emergency vet. Fell sick last night. No answers, really. Vet wanted to do a bunch of tests and x-rays. Antibiotics for now. Going to call our regular vet tomorrow and see if we can get some answers. Fancy is our little sweetheart. Loves everything and everyone. The happiest dog you'll ever see. Hope we can help her.
She's 13 years old and never was sick.
