Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

What are the questions? :pop Ask any questions you want. We were all beginners once.

Facing East is great. They'll get some shade in the hot part of the day in summer. They might also wake up earlier, with the early morning light.

When I had chicks, I bought starter/grower for two bags' worth of feeding. Then I switched to All Flock with some egg shells/OS (oyster shell) and grit in separate containers. When I found a 20% protein organic feed, I switched to that, and I like it better than the other one. One of the main "treats" I give my chickens is their food wetted a bit to make a mash. (They think it's candy.)The organic stuff smells SO much better when I wet it! The other stuff kind of stunk.
Can I have some popcorn? I miss Wesco. I used to live right behind one. Now I have to drive to the nearest one.

It was about the East part and the open concept. These guys are right here in Michigan somewhere, lol

So I'm making dinner for my family tonight which is going to be for 5 people. There is some chicken breast in the freezer, what can I make with that that's simple or what other easy dinners can I make

I would find any jam flavor but prefer peach and defrost the breasts, put an oven container like a big cast iron skillet and put some rice and chicken condensed soup , some chopped green onions, a little chicken broth for the rice to cook on. In the stove, using olive oil or avocado oil golden the breasts and then put them on top of the rice. Put some jam over the breasts and put in oven at 350 for about 20 minutes and you have rice with chicken

This last year, who cares? by the time my facemask is on, the hair and lack of makeup are the least of it. And only going to the grocery and feed stores anyway.
About feed; fresh is best! Here we feed Purina, which is fresh at the local TSC. Don't have ducks now, but Flock Raiser is a nice diet, and something labeled for ducks, and fresh by mill date, should be fine.
No way are we paying for shipping, when there's good stuff available locally.

I've had a huge flock of ducks for a long time. I feed them the same feed as chickens. It's the store brand crumble from TSC. I mix in about 25% scratch (same store brand). They are always very healthy, lay great eggs spring to early winter, and free range during the afternoons. Pretty easy and not expensive.

Good morning everyone! Wishing you a wonderful day! For me is a day of thought and work outside and inside the house. With a nice weather outside (if true) one can only enjoy the outdoors and reflect on life. I have things to do as well but will do them together and not all in a hurry.(I should)

Riss, what did you make for dinner? you can't just start something and leave us wondering!
