Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

While waiting on duck pictures, here are my babies. I am so proud of them! Some of them even look like they "stroke a pose" for the camera, 🤪

I am sorry that I posted so many pictures. I am just so amazed at how much they have grown. Little Sophia is always under all of them when I bring them snacks, so she flies on top of everyone else so she can land on my hand and eat. So funny. Rose has these white feathers under her black ones. Is like a little gift inside. I wonder what will happen as she gets bigger. They still have like baby feathers on their necks and I love the face of Blanch with green feet.
Well, Good night for now. I have lots of things to do in the morning before it rains.

Well it’s the first night my ducks are outside at 7 weeks old. I’m super happy they are out there but now that it is night my mom instincts are kicking in and questioning if they’ll be okay. Got that sense it’s too dark for them and they need a night light or they’ll get cold and want their heat lamp.

I know deep down they are fine and they’ll be okay. Just empty bird nest syndrome

I have wondered myself if I want to move them outside, :hit:hit

Good Morning Michiganders!!!!
I beat you all this morning. Hope your day goes well. Mine not so to a deceiving start. Just for you to know that a hand saw does not work on wet wood. So plans gone bad for today. Tomorrow will be raining again. More time inside with my girls!!! :love

Dreamz, I enjoy the pictures! And the blanket in the background is lovely!
Thank you Sally. The blanket is a third done. I ran out of blue and did not wanted to go to Walmart, so I changed a few blocks to end inn white, which I have plenty. Still have 2 rows to attach. I will take a picture once is covering my bed, ;)

WOW, Everyone is outside in the rain? I took a nap and watched TV. Now up and checked on the girls. Don't know what will do with the dogs because they will not go out while raining, at least mine will not. She will jump into the bathtub instead of getting wet by the rain, :lau (more cleaning for me) But at least she will not go inside or in the rug. :ya

I am not feeling to good today either. This getting old is killing me slowly, lol

See you in a bit!
