That wind that came in front of the storm was scary as hell here.
Glad it didn't last long, no trees fell on my house, and that the temp dropped.
Never lost power.
Think most the storms went north and south of me.....thunder and lightning to the south was prodigious.

I don't think I've ever seen such a huge line of storm on the radar away from the ocean!

At one point, the sound of wind and rain smashing against the house made me ask my husband if we should maybe go to the basement (spoiler alert: we didn't). That was absolutely nuts and beautiful! I'll need to do a walk around to see what damage was done, but my husband said it just looked like we lost a few branches. On Saturday, we had my family over to see the house, and my nieces and nephew built rock tower-things (you know, where they balance rocks on top of each other). Well, they lasted until the storm last night, which just goes to show how incredibly strong that wind was!

The wind at 11 last night was scary. It didn't last long, then it poured hard, but not for long. We lost power during the wind, and the estimated restoration is 6:15. I can't wait to leave for my chiro appointment so I can get some coffee!!

My computer was off by the time it came thru so I didn't get to see it.
Not sure I've seen one quite like that either.

I walked around and all is well! Rock City is still standing, but some of the small rocks at the tops got blown down. I opened the windows and doors for the breeze, but I'm not sure it's worth it to go from 57% humidity inside to the 99% humidity it is outside..... you quickly realize how much electricity you use when you don't have it for a while!

I originally thought someone was breaking into my house…the. The power went out. Suppose to be restored by 5pm today. We will see about that. No internet. I hope the cameras caught the lightening before they zapped off. I’ll post if so.

2 huge trees came down in the wooded area but nothing more than branches and leaves in the yard. Another line of storms is predicted for tonight.

Dream, please don't poison the dogs. Call animal control, or find the owners and speak with them. Cats... you can get a motion detector sprinkler that will go off when any critter approaches. My son does that cuz he has a crazy cat lady next door.
Storm? What storm? It was suppose to hit, but totally missed us. I went out after 11pm to take in the bird and hummingbird feeders and got stung while laying in bed. A bee crawled up my shorts and stung me! It hurt! Then I went out this morning to put the feeders up. Came in and a few minutes later got stung agan! Really?? Found out that the empty flower pot that I placed the bird feeder in has a nest of paper wasps! Hubby taking care of that right now.

That storm mostly missed us too; some rain and wind, but nothing much. Thankfully.
Haven't been outside yet, but from the house, only a few branches down.
