Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Went to the chiropractor today. Had a partially dislocated vertebra and 3 dislocated ribs. All from lifting wrong, so I need to figure out a different way of getting the feed bags into the bins. (,Since someone might question, I have a connective tissue condition. Issues with my tissues.)

Has anyone gone hunting? How is it this year? Maybe next year I will be able to go and fill the freezer.

I know I said to try to be more active, but I'm a very shy person and it's a bit intimidating posting on here when I'm relatively new. I'm trying my best!
don't be shy, we love hearing from you!

I can relate to figuring out how to lift heavy items. What I've done lately is have the TSC people load the feed bags into the back of my Jeep. When I get home I position a metal trash can so I can open and dump the feed right into the can. Then I use a dolly to get the can where it needs to be. It works for chicken feed, dog food, salt, and bird seed.

Not hunting myself but I live next to a state game area. Lots of hunter traffic going in and out of the woods. I only seen 1 harvested deer since bow season started. I'm hearing lots of gun shots from the goose hunters though.

Don't worry about being shy. A lot of people here are shy. Mainly a few bricks.

That's a great idea! Thank you. It'll really save my back.

My uncle works at a butchers shop and has been having dozens of deer come in. So jealous, I love venison.

Hun, I felt the same way. I even disappeared for a few months. But learned to understand that we are one family withthe same love for chickens. Some might be more intense than others but we all love our chickens the same. And because of that love, we all have learned to love each other. Not one here is different in any way. Well, some are hispanics like me but I do not like that term personally. I always say that I am Puertorican and everyone here has understand. Read up and you will see that even though we are different, we help each other. Well, not me. I am a newbie too. Last time I remember having chieckens I was probable 10 years old. Now adding shipping and handlling for international fee, I am 60 and everyone here is amazing. They go out of their ways to help out. Aart guides to posts that I never thought were here nor how to find them and is very good at showing pictures so we get a visual learning experience as well. So, you are fine. Jusy go crazy and ask and you will have many answers to help you along the way.
I hope I am speaking from everyone's perspective.
