Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Well, this old lady is hitting the sack. Today no chicken duty. I will let them fend for themselves. I let them out and they were like kids in the park. Flying like they can go to China. They were fine at 42degrees and I was almost frozen. It was not that it was cold but it is windy and that makes it cold for me,lol If there is no wind, I can be outside with just a sweater or a long sleeve shirt but when it is windy, those are a different kind of cold. So, they all had their time in the wind, grass and running after Pixie (maltese dog). I already had a very late lunch, tv programs are set to record, crochet stuff is done. So I am going to grab me some zzzz's until whenever. I can check on the girls via camera. I love those things.
Until later my lovelies!

WOW! Got sleep like if I was sleeping beauty. No worries, I did not woke up beautyfied, lol

Was in bed as same as the chickens. ^30pm I was gone with the zzzz's Woke at 3am and have been busy as a bee can be. On my way to get the girls out, check the perimeter and come in to shower and get on my road trip to Have no clue. At least is in Michigan. Perry?? I do not remember but I have it writen down to put on maps. RaZ, I like it when you think positive. We are all some kind of grumpy anyways, and that is a good thing. Means we have expereince, lol
Maybe I should get a group and do like they do in US and bring you some carolyn, lol Hopefully we do nopt get shot, lol I love you all! Catch up tonight if still have any breath left. lol

Since RaZ has no family members, who ever is sitting in the waiting room can't make any decisions. Rules can't apply to everyone.

Perry is not too far from me. A bit over 30 min. You'll find it, Dream. Have fun.

My one year old grandson was exposed to Covid at his daycare. Prayers that he doesn't get it. So scary.
My first heart surgery my Mom was still alive but she refused to be the "family member" in the waiting room. Instead, a BYC person sat there for the duration. She had a legal document for all possible events. The surgeon had a written, notarized document of DNR and other possibilities. So no real need to have a live person sit in the lobby for 18 hours. I had the last surgery with no one in the lobby. Doctor had the paperwork just in case.
Yeah, I'm not good with authority.

I liked the Perry area. I looked at a few places before getting this place.

Maybe the exposure will help with his immunity. :fl

I was going to join some of the ladies at Mary's house, but my dog Freya has horrible diarrhea. It's getting better now; mostly messy gas. She's had pumpkin and white rice; that's worked very well in the past. I think she eats stuff on the ground and it messes her up. She's sleeping in front of the woodstove now.

My neighbors two doors down have Covid. She just got the test results today. She says they have cold-like symptoms, not too bad, but coughing a lot. Still can taste and smell, so that's good.

There is a bright spot today: Another pullet is laying! :wee

I got my booster yesterday, Pfizer, my original shots were Moderna but that was not available this time. Not a big deal for me. Slightly achy today, but that could easily be the damp, cold windy weather as well.
The VA said I was too young for a booster, lol. Anyway, all the other med appts are zero fun and take away from my time on da farm.

I had a super healthy friend that was in the Coast Guard die from Covid recently. He was a medical type (we called him Doc) on our ship.
