I imagine being off your feet for two weeks is the ultimate punishment, Raz

X2 to seeing the artwork.

I about went crazy during those 2+ weeks in hospital last month. Perhaps I can plan ahead and have books, crossword puzzles, inter-web, etc. And visitors.

Raz, does that means that if you do the surgery and have to saty off your feet, you will become a grumpy old man? We love you so much, man. But we will still love you if you do become grumpy.

I'm already a grumpy old man.
Between the current pain level and bouts of insomnia, I am completely self absorbed. Too many worries occupy my brain. I hate this negativity.

Well, remember that we are your family here on BYC. We do care about you! Plan ahead. Especially meals and care of your critters. Hope Lee will be around to help you and keep you company. Do you have a wheel chair? Can you borrow one if not.
Will help you get around a little and off your feet. No surgery date yet? I'm having bunion surgery and dr said I have to stay off my feet for a week. At least I have my husband and a whip handy. lol

Yup, I have no living relatives. Makes it difficult when you need a person to wait while have a procedure done. Dumb rule. If something goes wrong what are they going to do? Run out to the waiting room and ask for help?

Ah. Finally, the last of the tomatoes are in from the garage and sorted (good from bad; obviously not sorted ripe from green).

Do not be negative but embrace the positive around you. I can barely find time to read books anymore.

No, RaZ they will come out to tell family members how it is going and incase there is the need for a medical decision.
