Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I am so freaking out. Forcast say we will have snow by Thursday. I still have to finish part of the roof for the run and the pieces to make it sturdy and able to hold snow. Also, tarps need to go on half the house. Hub does not wants to wing it in case there is a leak by the stupid skylights. I hate those things.
Anyways, Sally, I will be heading to GR tomorrow to Burton's Meat to get some groceries to make pasteles. Those are kind of like tamales but not the same. They are kind of wrapped up like them only. I did some from last time but was not able to get annato seeds, so it went bad. Just letting you know.

Love you all!

Well, the girls are finally secure for rain and snow so far. I still have to do a little few more screws because today's winds were fierce coming from the north. The house tarps never went up. I guess I get my 5 gal buckets in case it leaks inside the house. I am not gonna worry no more.
Was not able to enjoy the summer nor plant anything because I spent it with the chickens. This winter is not gonna be the same. I need to enjoy the cold weather.

My left had has been in pain for a few days. Seems like I twisted my wrist or something. Cannot use it normally. Will see if they can give me ideas tomorrow at PT for my right shoulder.

I know I have not been around much but trying to finish outside as much as I can. ALso waiting for the hardware store to install the blade on the tractor. So since it will be different, I need to re-organize the small garage to make sure it fits good in there.
Miss you all and love you.

If you change that temperature to under 30, the words to describe it would not be allowed on this site. Cold, raw, damp, with fierce winds here tonight.

I did get a lot of outdoor chores done, including putting the heated base for the water in the coop, and changing the old gas out of the generator and making sure the battery was charged up. After the power went out last week I wanted to make sure that got done before the weather got bad again.
