Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I have a really good charger with a 50amp jump start setting. Battery just clicked.
I'm going back out to pull the cables off and try a direct 10amp charge. :fl :fl :fl
Hooking the Jeep up to hot running battery would let you know if it's the Jeep's battery....or something else, like the starter or solenoid or.....??

That is a good tip. Unfortunately all I have for that is my LTD and she is tucked away for the winter. I put a new battery in the UTV but it might not be enough for a jump or check, it's only 300 CCA. I called my buddy for an extra hand but he hasn't called back yet. He has a dual battery setup in his truck. Anyway, my mechanic will test the system and not charge me. (No pun intended)

ETA I disconnected the terminals and have the charger directly connected to the battery and set at 10 amps. I'm trying to remember where I left my electrical meter. :he

Just read through all the wind related posts. I was in Ann Arbor Wednesday and there were warnings about the wind starting around 10PM. Well it was earlier in Muskegon (being further West of course). By the time I got home I already had multiple trees down. One large pine damaged a pig pen fence fairly bad. The next morning no power. Priorities what they are had me get the generator up so the coffee pot could do it's job. I thought about opening my trailer and finding the old stove top coffee pot but why bother when you can just make electricity, lol. Boy oh Boy did we lose some trees out in the forest! Prayers to the Tornado victims. We only had wind.
