Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

My brother had horrible sulfur levels in his well water,
taking a shower there was awful,
he put in a whole house filtration system.
I believe you. Evry other day I wash my hair and just got head and shoulders becasue it is medicated just in case but it is aweful that smell. In the mornings, yuck!

Then comes the toilet. You are a slave to clean them. It all turns rust-orange every day. There a second bathroom that does not get used that much, yet I have to bleach the heck out of it and flush it constantly due to the smell.

My well is 100 feet down. The water here is very hard. Sulphur, iron, and other "contaminants". My water softener doesn't do a whole lot. It really needs to be replaced. I have an RO thing for drinking water. I'm not sure that it is working properly. It would cost me well over a grand to have them replaced. I need to start saving pennies so I can get a good water system here.

They talk most about the tests they do in house but they have order forms and test testing kits for sending to ...

The state lab. Reasonable prices. No sales pitches.

They have several order form options, look at "Drinking Water Test Fees" for more options.

At our old house the water was horrible!! Rust, smell and everything else. Wolverine put in a softener and said it would take care of everything. NOT Came back a few times to flush out the pipes with bleach. Didn't work. Said we needed another contraption for a grand. Still didn't work. Said we needed another!! Called Culligan and they took everything out and put in their water softener. Water was so much better. No smell. Was an old well, so still a little bit of rust but water was drinkable.
This house has a whole house water filtration system.
