No, it is not poop at all. There is an old poop stain there only. the only new in there is the feather.
Sophia (naked neck) or Blanch (EE) are the ones that like to sleep in that corner. That is why I added a piece of wood to the 1/8 board to give them more leg room.

There's at least a foot of snow here.

We are about 1 hour north of GR. People kept telling us before we moved up here that winter was going to be way worse for us. I don't know what they were thinking. It's only an hour-ish north of where we were. It's all packed down, too. Just look at what I scooped off the driveway for the electric company the other day:

No, it is not poop at all.

Blood could be from a pin feather, especially feet/leg feathers, or a toenail, or a comb.
I've seen blood on the roosts, walls, bedding, poop boards on occasion.
It can be alarming, especially if a cut comb gets some head shakes and flings it all over, but is usually nothing to worry about.

I took a lengthy hike (lengthy for me) on Sunday. I saw a lot of robins, there were well over 100 of them. I quit counting at 100 and there were more around me.
