Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Hi Lovelies:

All clear on this side of the Lake. No snow. All melted. Well not all but the path to the chickens is and the driveway is all gone. Girls came out for a bit but went back inside because it is a bit windy. They had leftover eggs with cinnamon that I used to make french roast. Wyndottes took a day off on eggs. So I only picked up 4 today unless they did a late laying. About to go and check in about 20 minutes.
It has been a hard day today also. Got up and BP was 153. Later on it went to 160. (stroke is at 180) so I took Lisinopril and went and laid in bed on left side as per mayo clinic blog. Heck, I passed the heck out until noon, lol Then have spent about 3 hours in computer retrieving pictures from google drive. I am tired of downloading. Found pictures of the early chick days, lol
So, Rose and Randy; do we have a ball park number of people for the chickenstock yet? Just curious, lol
Gotta go and do last outside run to the chickens and then through camera. Hopefully, I do not have to gpo back out due to a knucklehead staying out. They can be so lazy at times, lol

I totally forgot to mentioned that this morning when I went to collect eggs and check on chickens in the morning, I saw blood in the roos and on one side of the steps. I checked every one of them and there was no sign anywhere on any of them of blood. I am trying to get the darn pictures from my cell and it is futile. New cell but cannot load as I used to google drive.
I really wanted to show you all. But the girls are all fine. I checked them really good from crown, under wings, under their bodies, legs, toes and even all around their fluffy butt. no dry blood on any of the chickens. There is also no animal dead inside the coop. Dang cell phone, Dang google!
Will keep trying.

edited: trying amazon photos to send to google photos to see if it works

Probably a pecking wound to a comb, they can bleed profusely then heal up quickly with hardly a sign.

My activity today. I took a walk through the wetland across the road from our house and this is part of what I captured. Great Blue Heron.

@aart that fast? there is no sign at all for the amount of blood as you will see by the steps.

This last one is the opposite side of where the most blood is, so there is no sign of bloody poop.

The first thing I checked this morning was their legs. Thoughy one might had like a pimple that drained or something. Should I worry? I was not able to wash it off but tomorrow will put the show suit and will wash it all good to see if I get another bloody streak somewhere.
