Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I really like my 3 quart, stainless steel, vacuum sealed ice bucket, especially how long it takes the water in it to change temperature. You can see half of it in this picture - just inside the screen door meant for a sliding glass door (door wall, if you are from metro detroit, evidently, lol).
Do you just leave the ice bucket open a drink from it?

I have a large metal dog bowl for water for the chickens. It's up on a cinder block, so it doesn't get too much dirt scratched into it. I dump it out onto the dirt in the run every evening, so it helps moisten that soil. (The run is covered, so it doesn't get much rain inside, unless it blows in.)

I wipe it out with a rag every night.

I try to keep 3-4 waterers in a rotation. Fresh ones every morning then I scrub the dirty ones later in the day. I usually ass a cap of ACV to help keep the algae at bay. I also have a kiddy pool for the ducks that gets dumped, hosed, and refilled every 2rd day. The ducks seem to like it better when it is dirty. Goofy ducks. My dog also likes a mud puddle over fresh water it seems.

I need to get some house work done today before my visitor comes for the ducks tomorrow. I so hate doing that chore.

I'm not sure why I even bother...the floor needed more than a swiffer pass so I got down on my hands & need for a deep clean. Then I couldn't get my knee back under myself to stand back up. I'm sure it was only a couple of minutes but it seemed like a half-hour.

If I wasn't rehoming the ducklings I would never let anyone visit.
