Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Are you down near 3rivers?
We got about 18-20", hard to tell for sure with the drifting and settling, and it's still snowing.
8 miles east of Three Rivers. We have a tremendous amount of drifting going on, so much so that some of the back roads are impassable. We are sheltered by a big woods so we don't get it as much here. In the woods where it doesn't do any drifting it doesn't seem like much snow.

Well I guess the snow amount was just a BIG scare for this area. Forecasted totals was up to two feet and we maybe have 3". The temperature forecast was spot on though.
I'm happy with less snow, we don't necessarily need the moisture as all our creeks, rivers and lakes are above normal water levels right now.
We only got a few inches in SE MI, but my brother got 2' up near Traverse City

Yeah, now that there's no wind to speak of, I'm leaving the people door open to the coop. A few birds came out, and the rest will follow, eventually.

There was maybe 1/2" of snow in the run, but the path where I walk is pretty clear. Snack time will be out in the run today.

I worked on Friday. White out conditions going to and coming home from work. Saturday and Sunday were cold and windy. I already mentioned using the generator on Saturday.
Not much done on Sunday. I thought about plowing the driveway but there was only a half inch of snow on it. So I stayed in and did nothing.

Drive in to work today saw bare roads and fields with snow drifts of 4 feet at various spots along the roads. So strange to see bare ground and then a hip-deep pile of snow just a few feet away. Even stranger was the drifting inside the building at the loading dock. All dock plates had about a foot of snow drifted inside the building. And the trailers we unloaded today had snow inside at the doors. A lot of merchandise was frozen to the floor.

Anyway, Winston is up to 13-14 pounds and goes in for round 2 of shots tomorrow morning. Silly doggo thinks he is a kangaroo joey.

I have really mixed feelings about the warm up to come. The back roads are going to become sheets of ice, and then muddy messes
I worry about my garage flooding here, but I got the driveway cleared and not sure how fast it will all melt or how much rain we'll actually get.
Temps are supposed to stay above freezing around the clock for a full week.
