You know that it's not cheaper, right?
Especially if you start with chicks and have to feed them for 6 months before you even get an egg.

The few eggs I'm getting now....EACH egg costs more than a dozen at the grocery. :gig
It’s not just for the eggs they are getting chickens. I’m just asking if anyone knows breeders around here
 
I have to remind myself that eggs are only half of the chickens' gift. Their poop has improved my garden soil tremendously.

Absolutely! There are various other good reasons to have chickens.
True Dat...but lately the rise in egg prices has many thinking/talking of keeping them for cheaper eggs.

Wonders what the sales of chicks will be this year....maybe more than the covid inspired surge.
