We got "pretty snow." DH calls it "pretty useless snow" because he can't ski on it.

I'm hoping we get some real winter weather so he will STFU about it. He's said he'll drive me wherever I need to go.

It is pretty snow! This morning i drove out to our road, tried the brakes to see if it was slippery, and turned around and went right back home!

Day 169 without any sunshine. Radio weather reports is calling for a snow storm starting on Wednesday. We shall see.
On a positive note: I got a lone egg yesterday. Winston is up to 25 pounds at 14/15 weeks old. He knows his name and comes when called. Sit command works about 75% of the time. Unless he is playing keep away or has the zoomies. We are still working on the jumping thing. It's most common when he is super excited. Other than that Winston is pretty laid back. I hope to have him trained well enough to bring him to Chicken Stock.

Today a friend and I placed not one, but two orders to Cackle. One for mid-April, the other for mid-May. And no white Chanties available for either! There might be some available, who knows when, but meanwhile, a variety of pullets, and a few EE bantams will be coming.
Should be a few to bring to CS in June, and all will be vaccinated against Marek's disease.
Chick fever definitely struck!
And snow coming...
