Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Hey everyone, haven’t checked in here in a while. I’m currently pretty dang sick, not sure what it is but I’m short of breath and coughing. The cold air hurts my lungs a bit but I still went out yesterday to push our old box truck back the back of the property with the farm truck and plow. One of the horses got stuck real bad in the fencing as well, the electric fence so I ran full speed out there in sandals to get him out. Let’s just say I didn’t feel to great after but we got the horse out. He’s limping a bit but he’s rubbed raw and it was tight. I’ll check him again this morning. Oh, and another thing, a friend of mine had a little disabled chick, she has some sort of deformity or something where her left leg is all twisted up. She’s three weeks old now, and is getting around great in that right leg, but the owner is struggling to give her the time and attention she needs so asked if I would like her. I’ll be getting her to day (my dad is going to get her for me) and I’ll be seeing what I can do. I’ve had the owner give her nutridrench and vitamin b complex. The chick wasn’t eating originally but I showed her how to help it, so now it can eat on its own. It’s just that leg I’m worried about now. I’m not sure if I can do much, but I’d be willing to try some things. When I get the chick later I’ll show ya. Oh and it worries me because she’s alone because she gets trampled and picked on, and I don’t have chicks. But I guess all I can do it try

Keep her as a house pet. That would be your featherbaby.

Just got her! The leg seems to definitely be at an odd angle and swollen. Any thoughts? I’ll take the wrap off in a bit. Her bum is dirty so I’ll clean her off in a bit as well. Letting her settle in her home first. She has a stuffed panda she snuggles under

It’s like bony. I had the previous owner come out and I looked at it a few weeks ago, and it didn’t seem to be a slipped tendon. Here I’ll try to find the old pictures
