Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I have something respiratory too! It’s been six days and I’m still hacking and wheezing. Ouch, hope you heal soon.
Feeling better today, thanks.
Most respiratory stuff lasts 10-14 days...can depend on how robust your immune system is.
I usually kick stuff within a few days, but the tooth extraction got infected so bod couldn't keep up.

Yeah. Glad you are doing a bit better today. My immune system has been getting hit very hard for the last few years, and I’ve had some mass cell reactions inflammatory issues, struggled to heal etc. For just under two years my family and I lived in a mold infested house. We didn’t know it had mold until several months in during a very very heavy thunderstorm. There was a wayerfall coming through the master closet ceiling, and upon further investigation, we found that an entire cavity filled with mold had been covered and sealed off to hide it. We looked into going after the previous homeowners but after looking into it, figured it wouldn’t be worth it. We did major mold remediation and redid the whole room, but because we had already been exposed and the house had had mold in it, we still needed to move since it’s all been contaminated basically. We have had to throw out so nah things that were in our old house, and deep clean anything we keep. During the mold house the doc said I was like the “canary in the coal mine” basically saying my body is crashing before everyone else’s. It’s been rough, especially since I already have asthma, but we made it, God saw us through, and we finally found our real dream place after some patience. Now we are just trying to keep me healthy, I’m on an insane amount of supplements since my body is low on many things, but I’m slowly doing better.

Oh and I’m glad to have all the poor critters out of that high water table area too, it makes all 49 of them much happier.

Hope you feel better soon, Pickles.
I think that looks like a slip tendon. Because it's been going on so long there's no way to fix it. I would say the bandage is more likely to cause trouble than help.
Felt like spring here today, sunny and 36, hardly any snow, and the mud starting to show.
If you have a hen that is a bully, it usually works better to pen the bully up separately for a week or two, seems to change the flock dynamics and distract them from their focus on one other bird.

5500 pages of posts. The first page was in August 2012 after the original thread got shut down. Hard to believe that it has been 10 1/2 years and we are still going strong. We lost a lot of the original MI people. But we have welcomed a bunch of "new" people to take their place.

Nice sunny day here. It's 52 degrees but breezy. I've been getting a couple of eggs a day for a week. Well I'm back outside to do some chores.
