I'm so sorry to hear about Opa. He was such a great human being. It was a privilege to visit him and Granny at his home in Howell, so many years ago now. He had a good long life, and a family that loved him.
I am very sorry and sad to hear this. I too, had the good fortune to visit with him several times at his house. I met a lot of his family and they are just as wonderful as Sam. First Grannie and now Opa.

True goodness must be a family trait.
 
Anyone worried about frost damage? I checked MSU's info about blueberries, cherries, and apple blossoms for the upcoming chilly/cold nights. As long as my blueberries don't come along much farther with their flowers, they should be safe at the temps we might be getting this coming week. Hopefully, the chilly days keep the buds tight.
