Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Too cloudy here.

We drove down to Boyne mountain and went on the Skywalk - pretty scary for someone like me, afraid of heights. The view was beautiful

I think I've seen a couple of people in here mention using shower curtains for winterizing. Are you using clear shower curtain liners from someplace like Dollar Tree? I looked at them, but couldn't tell how thick they were.

I have merv 2 fiberglass furnace filters to shove in the eaves to stop snow from blowing in. But still need to get something for a wind break for the run area under the coop.

That's very reassuring, thank you. I was going to buy a roll of sheathing, but that stuff is pricey.

I was thinking that beginning of November is likely a good time to clean out the coop & winterize. So am trying to finish collecting what I want to use.
I just ordered two of these. It's breathable but also let's warmth in. I have not put it up yet, but it appears thicker than shower curtains and has grommets every 36". I figured it would be reusable for some years:

Are there grommets on the bottom, too?

Hey guys it’s been a while! Life has been pretty darn hectic lately. We’re hanging in there. Unfortunately most of my time at home between work and errands is filled with caring for animals with illnesses or injuries etc. both of my mares are now mainly retired, one having e treats arthritis and fecal water syndrome (the constant upkeep on that has been miserable!) baby wipes need to come in bigger sizes this baby is 1200lbs and is a lot messier 😂😜 (plus she has a tail to keep clean 😂) and my other mare has severe heaves that is getting worse. She’s happy in the pasture as of now but well have to recheck
