Ok... Here is the cake. Yes, there is a beak too, but it doesn't show upas well as I had hoped. I ended up resorting to a paint brush to get some definition in. Not the best looking cake I am sure, but hello, I have never made a chicken on a cake before. LOL

We need more cow bell!!! (sorry, couldn't help myself!)

Nova, awesome job on the cake!

Anyone with turkeys, ever have a Tom, that would try to tend the eggs? Mine might be having some gender issues........ just sayin..

Nova the chicken is great!

All the chick pictures are not fair, they make me want to get out the incubator. The sfh are beautiful. And Sissy makes me miss our little d'Uccle.

love the cow bells, I have sleigh bells (very old ones) on my back door, and trained my lab(yrs ago) to ring a cow bell that I had hanging on the back door, when she wanted to go out

no turkeys here but I have a rooster that sits in the nest, right after I clean it out and put new straw in he jumps up and smooths it out, warms it up and some times stays in it till he gets kicked out by a needing hen
