Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I just want to share my chicks. Here are a few of them.

My youngest showing me the "bok bok".
I put the light in there because when it was on top the chicks were still acting cold. I moved it back up to on top today since today was the 2nd day they have moved away from the light.

This is my eldest. He is a high functioning autistic with Sensory Processing Disorder and problems with spacial awareness. He likes the chicks, but he does not like to hold them. He insisted the chick needed to sit on the book. Believe it or not, the outside of that book has a textured plastic piece on it. So there is some grip.

This is my 2nd oldest. He was reading a book to the chick. He likes to lay back and let them walk on his chest..... and yes, he picked out his outfit.

(There is an adult on the other side of the baby)
This is my youngest boy.

No one kissed the chicks or let them close to their mouth. everyone washed their hands before and after... and changed clothes just because Mama told them to.

to all the newbies. Our chicken community is growing!!

Keyt, I notice no geese in your animal list. You give them up?

Why did winter have to come back. Last night I went and checked on the hens in a t shirt. Today, it's a winter coat!! Man, sometimes I'm not happy with Mother Nature!

BentoMinion, cute photos with cute kids and chicks. Thanks for sharing!

Nova, if I lived in a place where I could have goats, and I had a shelter for them... I would have a cleaned out shed and goats. Envious.

I think I'll have a purple and yellow colour theme for the gardens this year.  Starting with...

Adding more purple to my front circle garden this year RaZ. I already have 75+ daffodils, coneflower. sowed Zebrina from Seedsavers.org, considering transplanting a vigorious perennial that I was given almost 20yrs ago: I've always called it some kind of primrose, but perhaps it is closer to a sundrop? In any event, if I remember I will snap a pic and post when they bloom.

Oh no I still have them! Well, the one with the pushed up beak didn't survive a really cold night but the other two are still running everything around here!! I just haven't updated my animal list lol
