Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Thanks for the suggestion theron. I did find that website yesterday, but the website doesn't have much information for the Spring 2013 showing. I hadn't thought to check the county fairs.

I want to bred and show Barred Hollands. I've heard that the ones offered by Sandhill Preservation and IDEAL aren't great, but I am looking forward to getting stock from both and improving them to standard. There's a breeder in Canada, but the cost to even have hatching eggs shipped over is so prohibitive.

And I am happy to see Momma and her puppies are all alive and happy!

For a winter treat for my birds I hang a head of cabbage in the covered run. I shove a stiff wire thru the cabbage, bend a loop to attack a string to, and bend a 2nd loop to keep in on the wire.

David gave me a photo from our Monday fishing trip that I didn't know he had taken. I thought it was pretty cool so I thought I'd share it.

Yes, thank you for reminding me... I was going to look up some different brands. Can you reccomend a good brand? Or are they pretty much the same?
We were talking about this last night too.
I know that this is somewhat contriversal, but you may want to look into a raw diet for mom to help her get back where she needs to be :)
