Here is a bit of wrongness... but I guess, if you have show birds and do not want feather damage from the roosters, might be something to consider, AND you would know that the job is getting done

Not 100% sure yet, but I am thinking of selling a trio of young Araucanas.

The cockerel is a rumpless and double tufted lad, blue with gold leakage.


This girl, columbian, is also rumpless and double tufted.


The last girl, I don't have any direct pictures of her. She is the blue girl in these shots. Cleanfaced and tailed, but if bred to the above laddie, might produce some nice chicks!


Another picture of the blue girl, but she hadn't been the focus of the picture. The splash rooster is her father.

VERY pretty!! If you were closer, I would totally jump on that offer. Would be nice if you had some and were going to chickenstock this year.

Hmm, I can't remember but wasn't it Mom2 who had the Uggos? I want some. Haven't seen her on here for a while. I NEED some Uggos. Got to find a source, ort I'll go mad. Any help out there?!?!?!

Yes I am the Uggo queen... however I gave the best of the best to Backyard Farm Mom..she got a rooster and a hen frizzled Uggo. lol. Right now,,,I have some growing, but no older ones, No fertile eggs. Ask BYFM to post a picture of what she has..or wait until later in the summer to see what dinosaurs have hatched from my yard.

I am extremley limited now though because my neighbors of 30 years moved away and new people moved in- and so far all attempts to be friendly to them have been cold-shouldered. Illegal Uggo operation over here.

Hi Mom, sorry to hear about the neighbors - how are you all doing?

Heart disease is difficult to diagnose for certain without diagnostic testing. The signs are often very suggestive - exercise intolerance (tires easily), weakness, decreased appetite as the problem progresses, and pale or blue-tinted comb from poor circulation. There is not any reasonable treatment in chickens.

I have some black and mottled bantam cochin chicks I am selling. Also 2 kentucky speck roos and some fawn and white Indian runner ducks, a pair of blue indian runner ducks and 2 Welsh Harlequin Drakes.

I'm sorry about your neighbours - some people can be really weird about the oddest stuff.

We have a neighbour who keeps moving our trash can into the center of our driveway, so we have to stop and get out to move it back again. Very bizarre..

Hi everyone, looking for a little advice (seems to be all I do now days LOL) While we were out working around our chicken coop today we spotted a dog a ways off, probably about 100 yards. I drove that way to see what we were dealing with, when I caught up I found it was a pit with a collar and tags. I got out of the car to see if he would come up to me and he ran off. I am not too worried about our safety but I worry about the birds since they free range. Granted I never cut wings so they can all fly but just wondered what you all do to discourage these unwelcome visitors?

I have one SUPER UGGO... and she is not laying yet. Unfortunately the SUggo roo had to be put down because he was trying to kill my hens... (Ripped off part of the back of her head)

Shawarma the Super Uggo is the silver one... She is a NN Barred Frizzle
If she is bred it will be to the partridge silkie... I am not sure when she will start laying but I will be sure to hatch some for Mom2 and to ask TC if she is still intersted

The SU roo is in the back... He was a handsome boy. I wish he hadn't hit puberty quite so hard.
