NoI bought our chicks from Family Farm and Home, so they're from Townline. I realized I've just assumed that they were given a vaccine before leaving Zeeland. Is this a safe assumption?

Sorry no you have to pay extra for them.I bought our chicks from Family Farm and Home, so they're from Townline. I realized I've just assumed that they were given a vaccine before leaving Zeeland. Is this a safe assumption?
Huh. All right. I saw a video of a generic hatchery where they were injecting vaccs into eggs days before they hatched. I think I thought that was standard practice. Thanks for answer.Sorry no you have to pay extra for them.

when you order the vaccine, you can keep in in the fridge till you are ready to use it, Just for those (like me) I read should be given to day old chicks and for some reason I thought you had to get it and use it right away,Opa has a new avatar![]()
Ok got the vaccine lined up. After several phone calls and some mild to moderate complaining. I will wait until the hatch is over, though, since these chicks are going to be in the garage or at the office until much older, and not around the older birds or any wild ones either. I have chicks in the 'gator () supposed to be hatching out for the next week.![]()
I think I read this in one of the threads fuzzy posted on vaccinations?, couple of days agonever heard of vacs being injected into eggs- do you have a link?
I have heard of people coloring chicks by egg injection....... don't get that either
I would like to vaccinate, but the vaccine has been on backorder. Now Jeffers has it, and I placed an online order, but then they called and wanted another $12 shipping on top of the $12.95 vaccine shipping I had already paid, and I told them No Way - I hate a bait-and-switch. If I can find it elsewhere for a reasonable shipping fee I will probably order some, but I have chicks due next week and it may be too late to vaccinate them.
My house chicken has an odor and dust issue.
I dusted him with herbs, spice and sauce and now I'm getting a savory, mouth-watering aroma from him.![]()
like your avatar, what are you doing in that pic
touchpad strikes again! There are far to many disturbed people on this thread... Its great.
1mutts, can you have them vac'd before shipping? Oh wait, there in the gator right?
It was something I saw last spring on YouTube. I'll poke around this weekend and see if I can find it again.never heard of vacs being injected into eggs- do you have a link?
