Sitting here this morning and thinking about yesterday's experience with the cable company. I'm reminded of the commercial of several years ago where the teacher tells a kid that he can't have any new crayons that they are only for new students. I've been with Comcast for many years and recently when I asked why my bill was so high when I am constantly see their ads for much cheaper rates I was told that I was receiving the very best rate possible. So after stewing on it for a while I changed to U-verse for $50 per month less and for a much better lineup. When I called yesterday to cancel my Comcast service they immediately offered to cut my bill by $60 and improve the line up. Why couldn't they do that in the first place?

Squeaky wheel Opa!

In June we won't be under contract with DirecTV anymore and I'll be doing what I can to get our bill lowered as well.

Cross your fingers that our sweet little mama foster doggy gets adopted today! She such a sweetie and deserves a great home! (Hopefully with some kids to play with.)

Well, now I am going to have to GO to townline monday... heehee. S
Don't you take my silkie chicks!!

If you go, let me know what they say, please.

Your silkie is a cutie. I don't care about SOP, I just want healthy nice birds that look rediculous. ;) Our SLW and BA are serious chicken looking enough for us.

Sounds like a lot of companies. You almost have to leave or threaten to leave to get anything done anymore. I did that with my parent's cell phone bill a little while back. They had a lower rate advertised and refused to give it to them, so I called and told them that we would find someone else. Within 24 hours, they had the new rate.
