WHO IS ALL GOING TO FOWLFEST?????

AND WHAT ARE YOU BRINGING?
My daughter Hannah and I will be there with Silkies and possibly some showgirls. If it's your first time going I would recommend bringing things to bundle up with, never fails to be freezing!

Eggs are pipping, so far I can see at least 8 pipped and there's one chick out.

I have seen this in person, it is very cool! I will vote for you too!
I think next year I might try Midgets. I have to build one more coop first and get the shed done this year first.

ALSO, Is there any interest here in yokohamas or pheonixes? I will be putting shipped eggs in a bator this weekend (Sunday), and depending on how many hatch, I will be bringing them to CS if there is interest for 4H kids. They are coming from Decoyman's stock out of W.V. He's sent me an assortment of what he's got on his farm. If any of you know who I am talking about, then you know he's got some quality birds. If not, here's a few pics of his beauties...

I have no idea how the heck he gets them to pose so well. But yeah... Decoyman is a BYC user, so you can look at his album direct, this is where I got his pics to copy and paste.

ME!!!! ME ME ME!! LOL.... but.. for me, not 4H cause I have no kids... but I LOVE these birds! PM me how much you're asking for them.

Sarah I voted for you (if anyone is having issues, you have to like the page and it will take you to the vote page).

Also liked the mi homesteading page.... will check it out later.

Time to leave for work!!

so... I went out this morning to feed Cas his bottle........ and I found where my sumatra hen is hiding her eggs! Yep, in the heated house for Cas. She's no dummy! If you guys could help me out with something. I'm trying to come up with an economical way to make a run for the sumatras. Was thinking about basic hoop made from hog panels, but those aren't cheap.......(no on using PVC) or just framing out with 2x4s... what have you guys had experience with?

Last night I was tending to the peacocks.. and one got out....... OMG now what do I do! I left the gate cracked open, and walked calmly around him to put him between me and the gate... he walked right back into the run! PHEW!!! Thought fore sure he'd take off! May have I guess if it were light out. *note to self, close the gate Silly!

Have an order of lumber and fencing coming Saturday... guess there will be no avoiding some work that needs done. We're making separate goat yards for the boys n girls, and to move them out of the back yard.

I will be there with I am not sure. I may be there with two Icelandic roo's and a hen, I bought my incubator finally so who knows, I will try to bring some Jersey Giants. I would love some silkies. Wait a minute I want to come back with less then what I came with.

, chicken math has struck again, lol.
Last year was hot! I roasted when we packed up. It was so funny coming home I have a little drive almost two hours I look in my rear view mirror and there is the Jersey Giant I bought staring back at me over the box. He is a very nice roo I got for my son from Wynette.
