Could someone do an RSVP page so we can see who else is coming and how many they're dragging with them...kicking and screaming, only to find out they'll have a great time too????

One small side note: Seller Warning: There may be a few people who attend who are not part of our BYC group. They will buy up as many chickens as they can for as cheaply as they can. You don't have to sell your birds to just anyone unless you want too or don't care if they end up someone's dinner or looking for cheap stock. I suggest you check out the buy/sell thread and list your "wants" as well as "Sells" and deal with people on BYC. Seller beware.
Now how did I miss this hahahahaha

If you need an extra pair of hands I can help. Have tools, can travel.
At a presentation in February, the USDA representative told the Michigan Agriculture Commissioners that the USDA defines a "farm" as any operation that produces or has the potential to produce $1000 worth of ag products in a calendar year.

The MAEAP tech who visited on Monday reiterated that threshold and my operation is by definition a real "farm". I am entered into the state data base as a farming operation. With that comes certain conditions of operation that not all people want to consider. Personally I believe that the positives out-weigh any perceived negatives.

Perhaps I should start an article or thread about the MAEAP Certification process. What do you think?
I Think YES you should???

While I know we needed rain, the amount we have received and are predicted to receive is beyond ridiculous. Rivers at or approaching flood stage. How can I fish that?

Wood stove pellets have an accelerate added.
Thank you will not use them for chickens
I apologize for the late notice. I wanted to let any interested party know that my "criminal" chicken case trial commences tomorrow, April 11, 2013. A jury trial (case number 12GC1470) will be heard in the 21st District Court, Garden City, Michigan, before the Honorable Richard L. Hammer, Jr.

Interested observers should note that the scheduled start time is 8:30 am. - Thank you.
GOOD LUCK !! You have done a lot of work to succeed and you should!(succeed that is

I agree, our road is flooded at both ends. and my chicken run is a muddy mess. At least they can free range and get out of the mud. hope the hawks stay away
