how can they not see that this is deliberate harasement??? They certainly don't seem to care about bad publicity, This is just un-real

If you were the one committing the harassment, would you admit to it? This is where I am with the local authorities.

Sadly, it is not just me. There are several BYCers going through the same thing. There are even more who haven't found our thread.

The good news is that word is getting out. I've been fielding calls all afternoon. The bad news is that this stance is difficult for many families.

So my duckling today has got a buddy. This is my most mild mannered of my four adult ducks. So I put them together. Success! No bullying from the adult duck (because she was out of her comfort zone, I think). A few minutes after I snapped this, I peeked on them and found them snuggling. A few more days of this, and maybe the two can rejoin the rest of the flock.

Met with the orthopedic surgeon today and after an extensive exam he imformed me that my hips and knees are fine and that my problems are caused by a condition called vascular claudition. Evidently it is a circulatory problem so now I have an appointment to see a vein specialist. Oh the joys of aging.

As they say "Better over the hill than under it". Glad for you Opa!

I just can't believe what my cow did this morning! Bella had been producing on average 1 1/2 gallons of milk in the mornings, and she nurse the calf during the day, and I lock her up at nights, so I can have the milk, otherwise the calf takes all of it. Well, this morning, normal routine, but instead of normal amount of milk, she gave me more than usual. 4 gallons!!! Took me 15 minutes longer to milk. Half hour total. My right thumb had fallen asleep while milking. The 16 qt pail was heavy to carry to the house. I wonder how much will she give tomorrow...
