Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Never had a good experience at Best Buy and don't know any one that did. Horrible place to buy.
Hope things get better for you, Juise. Miss your posts. Take care

I was thinking of recording the conversation with corporate, with them knowing, heck they record our converstation for quality purposes... And then take that call to the local, and play it for the general manager and see what happens...or calling the news, and calling corporate while they are there, and then getting back in touch with local and get there version of the insurance... and see what happens... LOL Hmmm.

I would be livid. Personally, I never buy those "insurances". I think it was Consumers Report or somewhere like it, that said they just make a ton of $ on them, but half the time it doesn't cover what you might really need them for...but I digress...

I really do think you should try all the things you mention, + some of the others ideas. Do it all...you specifically asked them if it would be covered under the exact circumstance that occurred...AND corporate is agreeing. If you keep pushing, they'll cave; especially if you go there in person, on a busy Sat/Sun & be vocal (loud, but polite, of course :) ). They want people to purchase those extended warranties....

Well, guess I'll go get ready for work so I can go in & find out if I am "exempt" or "non-exempt" (formerly known as "essential" or "non-essential", they're trying to be PC now & not hurt our feelings with terminology...most news outlets haven't caught up with these terms yet). Good chance I'll be home by 11:00....

they probably don't see it as expanding little minds but just more work for them..... since it's all about them... after all. Oh, and wtheck... hurt the feelings of those that can't join... so lets not do anything? Do you have a community center or Y that would appreciate your efforts?
This thinking burns my candle so much. Oh, lets not hurt anyones feelings. This way, when they get into the real world, they end up diagnosed and drugged because they can't grasp that they have the potential to fail.
That was supposed to be "but" not "nut". In my defense the B and N keys are next to each other and I have big fingers. And I was tired. It was dark. The chicks were distracting me. Oh well, typos can be humourous.
This sounds like me when someone asks me if my 2ndbook is done yet. Lol.
HEHE, wah-wah. You started it.
It's been long enough now that I have forgotten what it was I started. Lol.
I'm not quite sure about my cat. Since the chicks went into the brooder, Freddie has been standing guard.
It's in the lower south central area. Close to border, Close to Ohio home.
You are probably within an hour of my location, actually. Welcome.
The appointment for that specialist isn't until the end of the month. Losing strength in one hand sure presents more problems than you might think. Yesterday while carrying a hot platter with four slabs of ribs to the table the pain in my thumb was tremendous. Just as I got to the table my wrist gave out and I came very close to dropping our dinner on the floor.
I found out the hard way that I can strip in less than 3 seconds because my hand spasmed and my freshly stove-top-brewed tea flew down my whole front side. Luckily, the children had no friends over that day.
I don't think dead chickens lay many eggs . . .
Trying not to wake my DH before his alarm, and I read this... barely kept the snort under the radar. Hey, at least I finally caught up on the thread.

On a non-chicken-related note, I am seriously excited. The kindle edition of my 1st book was available as a free download for 5 days, and had 404 downloads across 9 countries. I felt that was prettygood for a title that has been available in print for 7 years already. :p

Sweet!
What's the title???????
I'd've made it 405!

The title is JADED; I write under the name Elura Coren. Note: not suited for young eyes, as it is racy content. :p

If we run another freebie promo, I will try to remember to let you know. This is to help build the fan base for future titles. (Not a series... each individual, stand-alone novels.)

John, I have been experimenting with cheese - so far did a good Juusta Leipa (a finnish cheese still made in the UP and wisconsin) and a cheddar that I will know more about in maybe a month or so. Wish I could get some goat milk.

If, and it's a big if, I find a full blood toggie buck, and I breed my does, I should have enough to make cheese. Another hobby...

I did sample my Montmorency Cherry Wine and found it retains the bouquet of fresh picked cherries, has a tart start and a fairly high alcohol level. Not the usual dessert cherry. Less sweet. I'm liking it. I could add a simple syrup and raise the sugar but decided no. It should pair up well with pizza throughout the winter! Apple is next.

Ooooh...looks RIGHT up my alley (just read the descrip)...I have no young'uns..so racy is GOOD! LOL! Gonna download it when I get home on my Kindle...start reading in blind when hunting...I can borrow this one for free w/Amazon Prime...

Stacykins do you have eggs? Not immediately but in the future?

I will next spring! I was hoping to send out one last batch of hatching eggs this week actually, but the girls decided it was time to stop laying. Nobody is actually molting yet, but it'll happen soon enough, I bet!
