I have a grandma in San antonio and was there once and loved it. But my mom, dad, and sis are here as well as DH's parents. Just can't leave them.

I would leave in a heartbeat. The only thing keeping me here is no job ($$$) and no way to sell my house.
I'd like to live in North Carolina, about halfway between the mountains and the ocean. Easy travel to either.

Same here if finances would allow I would be somewhere in the Smoky mtn area. Not picky either side. My allergies and sinuses kill me here went down in the spring and was symptom free until I passed the Ohio border coming back.

I loved Knoxville, TN when I lived there in the early 80's. I'd go back too except for my kids and grandkids that live in the Lansing area. Just can't leave em. They are my family, and that's what makes me want to wake up every morning!

I was born in California & I think that the sun & warmth is in my blood; even though we moved back here when I was 3 years old.

I think that the worst part of Michigan in the winter is no sunshine from like January thru February. If Only I could go to Hawaii for 3 weeks every February ...... I have found that really helps

But family is truly most important to me...& I am lucky to have a close knit one...wouldn't trade that for anything...
