What do people think happens to chickens on a CAFO? They're raised in a small space and culled when they no longer lay or are butchered to become our "boneless skinless breast meat." Whether you slaughter your own, have done for you or put on Craigs list for someone to do later on its still the same end and cycle of food. BUT the big difference is small backyard chickens and small farm operations are just more humane!
