My Dh does not care for her. When I told him she was going to be at the Ag meeting, his response was "Does that mean you get to egg her?"

I have had lots of chicks and never had a picking problem. I know I have been lucky but I have my first. One little welsummer has a spot where she is missing feathers. So I had to separate her out in her own tank. I tried bluekote and a red light but nothing kept them from picking on her. So now she is getting lots of people attention. I hold her while reading and she snuggles up and goes to sleep. She has been named Chiclet.

It's funny to me, I called Stabbenow's office when these things were being proposed to change RTF. Her office said that I needed to contact my Michigan reps that report to Lansing where she is a National Senator who answers to Washington... I explained that she is still influential, and if she honestly is pro small farmer then as a Michigan resident she should be taking this personal!
I called every government official that would listen to me!

The calendar says it is spring, and the diminishing piles of snow seem to concur, but my body doesn't seem to recognize it. Only outside for a few minutes with the dog and my fingers immediately started feeling numb and my body started shivering.

I had hoped to be steelhead fishing by now, but with the night time temperatures still dropping well below zero I am going to have to delay a little longer. Only a few years ago I could endure the cold without complaint but now it is downright painful being out in it. Once the night time temperatures stay above freezing I think I can dress adequately. This will be the first spring with the jet boat so I am really looking forward to April.

Lol. The FFH on Plainfield is the one I use too. Will have to pop in. No Easter eggers when I was there a couple weekends ago

I don't think so; i am going to have to get a map and look for zeeland now! i roam around grand rapids/ muskegon/ grand haven area
